Arkki by Lovi is a new design brand of accessories and lighting for the contract market, created by Lovi ltd. The brand received an impetus for development 20 years ago, when a young designer Anne Paso created her – later patented – line of wooden Christmas decorations. The family-owned company from northern Finland now specializes in creating unique eco-friendly interior products.

The range consists of deciduous trees and spruces up to 4 m high, sound-absorbing products made from recycled PET plastic and a collection of cardboard lampshades, which can be produced in different colors. All Arkki by Lovi products are manufactured in Finland. Lovi’s deciduous trees and spruces bring something fairy-tale-like and magical to any interior – be it a hotel lobby, office, restaurant, assembly hall, seniors’ home or private residence.

For many city dwellers close contact with the nature has become a kind of luxury. We spend most of our time within four walls, surrounded by glass and concrete. This leads to loss of productivity, chronic fatigue and stress. We have an intuitive desire to be in the nature, to change our surroundings. Psychologists and biologists call this need to feel a connection with living nature “biophilia.”

The impact of biophilic design on improving human well-being and productivity has long been proven. However, it is not always possible to use live plants in interiors. And not everyone has a sea view from their windows. But as you pass by the Lovi trees you can almost hear the sound of wind in the treetops of the forest. And when you see a flock of seagulls, you feel a light breeze on the seashore and the cries of birds… In addition, Lovi trees not only to bring the natural landscape into the room, but also to improve the aesthetic and acoustic atmosphere in an office or other public institution.
